The El Cid Apartments can be found 6kms south of Torrevieja, 20mins from Murcia San Javier and 45mins from Alicante airports.

Out and About In the Cabo Roig Area.

4 superb sandy beaches within 5 minutes walk at Cabo Roig, Campoamor, and Calla Capitan. Beaches at La Zenia, Torrevieja, Mar Menor and La Manga close by. 3 modern stunning Golf Courses within 5 minutes drive: Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Villamartin and Las Ramblas. Waterparks, go-karting, amusements close by. Supermarkets and the newly built La Zenia Boulevard shopping mall. This has all your local high street boutiques and also a wide range of restaurants to suit all tastes. Shops, restaurants, bars, and banks with more shops and restaurants a 5 minute drive.
Tennis courts are available, and are only a short walk away in the Orihuela Costa Resort. Local bike hire and car hire are also available.

Go-karts at the Orihuela Costa track, is a short drive away offering children and adult karts. Also paint balling and other activities. They have a restaurant that serves daily menu meals.

All of your gastronomic delights are catered for in Cabo Roig and Campoamor area, with a fantastic array of inter-national restaurants, from local tapas bars to fine dining in exclusive eateries, also not forgetting the kids’ burger bars and American diners, and Bushwhackers Australian bar with live entertainment all year round. Or why not take a slow steady walk along the cliff top paths to the Cabo Roig Marina and have a Spanish favourite of tapas and wine while watching the sun set over the marina and over the Calla Capitan Beach.

For the more adventurous a local bus service runs from Cab Roig, to all the local towns such as Alicante, Torrevieja and San Javier also down to La Manga and further on to the historic city of Cartagena. These are typical Spanish towns with rambling streets and hidden gems tucked away in back streets.

For those of you who are seeking thrill, speed, and excitement on their holidays, the Aquapolis water park is situated in Torrevieja and has a number of great and scary slides including the Kamikaze. A perfect day out for all the family with swimming pool and Jacuzzi to relax in after all the excitement. Also a restaurant on site so you don’t have to leave the park to find a quick snack.

More activities and adventures found nearby include horse riding, beach sports, Multi–plex cinema and ten pin bowling. Daily excursions from Torrevieja marina to Tabac Island. Visit the Torrevieja and Santa Pola salt lakes where flamingos are regular visitors. There is also a Zoo between Santa Pola and Elche, with a sea lion show and a small train with a guide to show you around the park. Don’t forget you’re bathing costumes as there is also a small water park there for you to relax after your tour.
